The Summit Public Library provides many services for residents' educational needs and entertainment, including services that reach out to the village's unique diversity.
English language conversation groups are scheduled Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
The Summit Library also is affiliated with Moraine Valley Community College to provide GED (high school diploma equivalency) test preparation courses.
The Summit Library supports other areas of literacy and job skills development, and has information readily available for residents, including summer literacy programs for Spanish-speaking residents.
